Michael Loose (a.k.a Harley) was born and raised for most of his childhood in Las Vegas, NV. He has lived in such places as California, Texas, Arkansas, Iowa and the Netherlands. Michael currently resides in El Segundo, CA with his with his wife and 8 year-old son. Some of Michael‘s hobbies include hiking, biking, traveling, spending time with his son, reading and photography (especially nature). Some his photographs have been displayed in magazines, newsletters and his beautiful photography appears throughout his poetry website. Michael is also an accomplished poet winning several awards and contests. His writing techniques have been described as “...gently philosophical, awesomely perceptive and insightful” and “Michael's unique brand of word-blending is thought-provoking and universally appealing.” Most of his poetry comes from what he refers to as his dark days. After a devastating back injury, Michael traded in the fast paced life as a Customer Service Supervisor for a Major Airline for the field of law as a paralegal. He is also the host of Corner Poetry.
